“Perderse en Moratalaz”
It is a collaborative project that transforms the neighborhood’s collective memory into short stories, whether real or fictional. Promoted by CiudaDistrito, in collaboration with the District Council, the Culture and Sports Committee of the Moratalaz Forum, and various neighborhood organizations, and developed together with the writer Ana Cristina Herreros and the landscape designer Malu Cayetano.
Based on the project for the signage of Moratalaz’s geographical, historical, and artistic landmarks and sites, this initiative invites local residents to discover, create, and share stories about the district. Through workshops, walks, and storytelling sessions, we aim to fill the streets with narratives that strengthen the bond with the territory, bringing the history and legends of Moratalaz closer to the entire community.
